Frequently Asked Questions

Right on the boardwalk at Ocean Ave and 2nd Avenue. You will smell our grill cooking, the surf music playing, and somebody’s probably carrying an egg cream. Check our socials or maps for exact directions.
-
Yep — there’s plenty of nearby street and beach parking, but summer weekends and busy beach days can fill up fast. If you’re coming during peak daytime hours, getting here a little early is never a bad idea.
Dinner time is usually much easier, and spots tend to open up closer to the beach in the evening.
A few local parking tips:
Parking on the ocean/beach side is free after 7 PM
Most other parking throughout Bradley Beach is already free
The closer you get to the beach during the middle of the day, the more competitive it gets
Classic shore town rules apply: circle once, stay patient, and somebody’s leaving eventually.
Honestly, one of the best moves is biking over. The boardwalk and surrounding streets are super bike-friendly, and skipping the parking hunt feels like a veteran shore move.

At the moment, we’re primarily boardwalk-style grab-and-go seating.
We’re all about outdoor boardwalk dining.
We’ve got a full patio seating area plus beachfront picnic tables with one of the best views around. During badge hours, you’ll need a valid beach badge to use the picnic tables — or swing by after 5 PM when the badge checkers call it a day.
Want the real Bandit move? Bring a beach chair and a cooler and make your own setup. Hit the sand, post up across the street in the green space, bring a lawn game and turn dinner into a full beach hang.
-
Nope. Rain doesn’t scare us.
If the weather gets ugly, we’ll switch on local delivery (soon!) so you can stay dry while the burgers, fries, and egg creams still make it to your door.
Summer storms come and go — Bandits keeps moving.
-
During bad weather or select slower beach days, we may (soon!) turn on local delivery for nearby customers. Check our ordering page or socials to see what’s available that day.
-
Depending on the day and volume, we may offer online ordering or pickup options. Keep an eye on our socials for updates.

Listen, we love our furry partners in crime, but during the summer, the local authorities lay down the law. From May 16 through September 30, four-legged bandits aren't permitted on the beach, the boardwalk, or any public areas east of Ocean Avenue in Bradley Beach (unless they’re official service animals, of course).
If you’re rolling through with your pup during the summer restrictions, we’ve got the perfect backup plan for your crew. Scope out the green spaces right across the street—pack a few beach chairs, grab some grub, and have a killer picnic with your pup. Another top-tier option is hitting up the picnic area over on Sylvan Lake. It’s got public picnic tables, sits right at the corner of Ocean Ave and Evergreen, and is just a few short blocks away.

An egg cream is a classic soda fountain drink. It is made with milk, chocolate or vanilla syrup, and seltzer — no egg, no cream. Ours are fizzy, cold, and ridiculously good on a hot day. Every egg cream is served with a pretzel rod.
-
Yes, we make Oat Milk Egg Creams as well!
-
Yes, we are serious. We delicately plate this sandwich for immediate consumption. Funnel Cakes do not travel well and will harden very quickly. Therefore, we cannot package this sandwich to go, pickup orders or for DoorDash orders.
We carefully fry up two funnel cakes to serve as your bun, and load it with pork roll, a fried egg and American cheese. We will serve you a side of raspberry ketchup for you to apply to each bite, which is our recommended way to eat our Funnel Cake Pork Roll Egg and Cheese Sandwich right here at the Jersey Shore in Bradley Beach, New Jersey for your perfect concession stand. -
Our Pizza Bread is a classic North New Jersey staple at its finest. All of our pizza bread is delivered fresh daily from Calandra’s Italian & French Bakery. It starts as pizza dough, but instead of being stretched flat like a pie, it’s baked into a golden loaf with a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy center. Then we slice it open and stuff it like a pita pocket with all kinds of ridiculous goodness.
-
Absolutely. We usually have several vegetarian-friendly options on the menu, including our Vegetarian Crabb Cake Sandwich, the Jersey Tomato Sandwich, fries, funnel cake fries, and our classic egg creams. We also run rotating specials throughout the season, so there’s usually something new showing up at the stand.
Best move? Check our social media before you come by to see the latest specials and limited-time creations.
-
We do our best to keep a few vegan-friendly options available, especially during the summer season. Depending on the day, that can include fries, oat milk egg creams, select specials, and customizable menu items.
Since our daily specials rotates pretty often, social media is usually the best place to see what’s currently available. If you’re unsure, just ask — we’re always happy to help point you toward the plant-based Bandit move.
-
Exactly what they sound like: crispy funnel cake sticks tossed in powdered sugar and topped with sauces and goodies. Basically, summer in a tray.
-
Absolutely. We’ve got smaller portions and kid-friendly classics that make beach days easier for parents and more fun for little boardwalk bandits.
-
We do have some gluten-free friendly items, but our kitchen handles breaded products and flour regularly, so we can’t guarantee zero cross-contact. We always carry gluten-free buns or wraps. Please talk to our staff so we can help accommodate your gluten-free needs.
-
Yes, we accept cash, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and the Cash App.
-
Nah, we just slang the food. For beach badges, you’ll need to hit up the official Bradley Beach booths or check their community website. But remember, after 5 PM, the badge checkers head home and the beach layout is free game!
-
We do not have a public restroom. Please hit up the public restrooms located on Ocean & Third Avenue.
